So, Hear's What I've Been Up To...

Short version: I've been working.

For a little over a month now, I've been working as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at an AT&T call center. Not exactly what I imagined myself to be doing, but I'm glad that I have the job. For the next few months, I'll be doing this and preparing to get into grad school (as I'm sure that I've mentioned before). Along the way, I'll try to squeeze in some more art-related activities so I can update this site. I have one major one that I'm trying to sort out as we speak. Hopefully, I can roll it out in short order. But, we'll see. Anyway, I figured I'd update you all on my goings-on. That, and it was a good excuse to test out the free journal skin trial, just to see how it works. Until next time all...

  • Current Residence: A nice mountain-side vista on a planet on the far side of the universe...

  • Favourite genre of music: '70s rock, electronica/techno, alt. rock ('90s), and shoegaze mostly. Some comtemporary.
  • Favourite artist: Too many to name at present. Take a raincheck.
  • Favourite poet or writer: Don't read nearly often enough. If I had to pick, H. Skewes.
  • Favourite photographer: Ansel Adams, Hiroshi Sugimoto, many others
  • Favourite style of art: Digital (3D, vector), various photo techs. (infrared, blurred motion, etc.)
  • Operating System: Me: The lost souls of the innocent; KOS-MOS (computer): Windows XP (running SP3, baby!)
  • MP3 player of choice: Creative MuVo v100 or an iPod touch if I could afford it.
  • Shell of choice: Still the Blue Shell from "Mario Kart" (still ruins everybody's day most efficiently)
  • Wallpaper of choice: If it looks awesome, it's going on there. Mine can cycle! ;)
  • Skin of choice: Still mine...although, if they made some kind of regenerative armor, that'd be cool too.
  • Favourite game: Super Smash Bros. (all), Xenosaga (all + Gears), Burnout series, Armored Core series
  • Favourite gaming platform: Sony: PS2, PSP. Nintendo: Gamecube, Wii, DS Lite. MSFT: XBox 360 (depends on the game)
  • Favourite cartoon character: Your mom.
  • Personal Quote: "Believe in yourself and create your own destiny. Don't fear fate."
  • Tools of the Trade: Canon REBEL EOS K2 (50 mm). My KOS-MOS w/Wacom Bamboo (tablet), trad. art tools, my mind.

Not a problem. I would love to improve my fractal skills at some point, and your work is a great inspiration. I was looking through your gallery, and I saw so many cool things that I couldn't narrow it down to which one I liked best! For some reason though, "Crystal Solitude" really stands out to me. I can't stop looking at it. It really looks like I'm in a room, made of nothing but shattered crystals! It's really awesome. I look forward to seeing more of your work! You have a great summer too!
